Jill
Robin Payne, MA, BCPC, LPC, holds a license from the State of Texas, as
a Licensed Professional Counselor and is Board Certified. Jill is a member
of the American Psychological Association, the National Chronic Pain Society,
the American Counseling Association, and the International Association
of Reiki Professionals. She has her Masters Degree with honors in Clinical
Psychology from Houston Baptist University. Jill did her internships for
her masters at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Houston, Texas.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Recreational Therapy for
the mentally and physical challenged and interned at the National Institute
of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Jill is certified in Pilates and a Reiki
Master/Teacher. She authored a guide for positive rehabilitative activities
for the emotionally and physically challenged while working at Bellaire
Hospital in Houston, Texas. Jill was recently interviewed on Jobing.com
discussing how to handle work related stress and obtaining new work. While
maintaining a private practice, she also contracts at many of the Pain
Clinics in Houston along with Partial Hospitalization Programs for the
mentally challenged. There, she teaches stress, pain, and anger management
along with cognitive therapy. She has given motivational talks at the
Texas Medical Center, HARCH (Houston Association of Residential Care Homes/Elderly
Disabled Adults), and at many of the health clubs in Houston, Texas. Her
practice is devoted to helping everyone understand that seeking advice
for improvement of mental health is as important as seeking advice for
physical health. All of Jill’s work is strictly confidential and

Jill is also an activist and believes strongly in giving back to the community. Her volunteerism ranges from aiding senior citizens, working with the homeless and supporting our Veterans. Her main volunteerism is with children serving on the Ronald McDonald House Committee and as a clown in the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo bringing smiles to needy children. Jill is listed in the Biltmore Who’s Who of 2008. |
